Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association
(MTIDA)
The Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association is an economic development agency founded by the electric cooperative and municipal power systems in Middle Tennessee. MTIDA represents and promotes industrial development in 38 Middle Tennessee counties stretching from the Kentucky border to the Alabama state line guided by a board of directors. MTIDA provide plant location services in cooperation with the State of Tennessee Department of Economic Development and Tennessee Valley Authority. Visit www.mtida.org


Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association (TECA)

Tennessee Municipal Electric Power Association
(TMEPA)
The Tennessee Municipal Electric Power Association is a membership  association of all 60 municipal Electric Power Providers of Tennessee serving over 2.1 million houses and businesses which included over 70% of the electric consumers in the State of Tennessee. Visit www.tmepa.org

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)

Tennessee Valley is a federally owned corporation in the United States created by congressional charters in May 1933 to provide navigation.  It is the nation's largest public power provider. TVA's power service territory includes most of Tennessee and parts of Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina and Virginia, covering 80,000 square miles and serving 9 million people. TVA sells electricity to 155 power distributor customers and 56 directly served industries and federal facilities.
